Dream about a key

A feeling of being stuck or held back is what a dream about a key is trying to show you, my friend. This dream points to the ways you hold or lack the power to move forward in your own life.

This lack of access can feel like a heavy weight, but this state of being barred is not permanent. You have already shown the strength to recognize where the doors are closed, and that awareness is your first step toward finding the way through. A key is the thing that lets you in.

You might feel stuck or find yourself waiting on a stalled plan while looking for a key or losing a key, as these dreams show your ability to move through life has been temporarily misplaced.

Relief washes over you when receiving a key because the doors that were shut are now open to you.

You find your way through a door that was once closed when you go finding a key, because you have finally reached what was out of reach.

A feeling of yielding can take over if you are giving keys, as this dream shows you are transferring your authority or trust to someone else.

A strange and heavy feeling takes hold when eating keys, as this dream shows you are trying to take in a power or an authority that is not meant to be consumed.

The dream feels dishonest when stealing keys, because you are trying to take a way through that has not been given to you.

Car keys appear to show you are ready to pick up speed and push forward with your work.

House keys show how you handle the care and trust required to manage your own private world.

You have already proven you are worthy of the entrance when you are holding a key, because this shows you now possess the right to go where you need to be.

The dream feels like a denial when you are breaking a key, as the access you thought you had is suddenly lost.
