Kyle BrightYou feel a sudden, sharp alarm because shooting an intruder in a dream shows a part of you trying to defend your private peace. This dream is about the way you react when you feel your personal boundaries are being pushed or your sense of security is being threatened by something or someone.
The feeling of being under attack is heavy, but this tension will not stay with you forever. You have already shown that you have the strength to recognize a threat to your inner world. My friend, try to notice where you are letting things cross your line in your waking life. This dream of shooting an intruder is a sign that your inner defenses are active and looking out for you.
Killing a home intruder, shooting intruders, or stabbing an intruder all show that you are taking a hard stand to push away what does not belong in your life. You are putting a stop to the intrusion so that you can feel settled in your own skin again.

Kyle BrightInterpreter interprets your dreams
Worn out, on edge, stuck, lighter than usual. A dream nearly always starts with one of those, my friend, and the pictures come after. Whatever you saw at night is mostly what you were already feeling with the sound turned up. Which helps, because a feeling with a name is a lot easier to carry than one without. So find the feeling first. The rest tends to follow.
